Accessibility

Our commitment to making Pomofocus usable for more people.

Last updated: July 22, 2026
Effective date: July 22, 2026

Vektosys is committed to making Pomofocus (https://pomofocus.vektosys.com) accessible to as many people as possible, including users with disabilities. This Accessibility Statement describes our approach, standards, known limitations, and how to contact us for assistance.

1. Our Commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is an internationally recognized set of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As we add features and content to Pomofocus, we work to design, build, and test with accessibility in mind.

2. Conformance Status

Pomofocus is designed and iteratively improved toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. We do not claim perfect or certified conformance across every page, component, browser, or assistive technology combination at all times. Some areas may be partially conformant while we continue improvements.

Where we identify barriers, we prioritize fixes based on severity, user impact, and technical feasibility.

3. Measures We Take

To support accessibility, we strive to:

  • Use semantic HTML and meaningful structure for headings, landmarks, and lists
  • Provide sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements where feasible within the product design
  • Support keyboard navigation for primary interactive controls
  • Associate labels with form controls and settings
  • Include visible focus indicators for keyboard users
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful non-text content where applicable
  • Avoid conveying information by color alone when practical
  • Test core flows with keyboard-only interaction and commonly used browsers
  • Consider screen reader behavior during development of key interfaces
  • Maintain readable typography and scalable layouts where the platform allows

4. Compatibility

Pomofocus is intended to work with modern, currently supported versions of major browsers (such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) and with assistive technologies that those browsers support. Accessibility outcomes can vary depending on:

  • Browser version and settings
  • Operating system and device
  • Assistive technology (for example, screen readers and magnification tools)
  • Browser extensions that alter page content
  • Progressive Web App (PWA) install mode versus browser tab mode

5. Technical Specifications

Accessibility of Pomofocus relies on the following technologies working with your browser and any assistive technologies you use:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • WAI-ARIA where needed to enhance accessibility of dynamic components

6. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations may exist, including:

  • Dynamic timer interfaces, charts, or animations that may be less optimal for certain assistive technologies
  • Third-party advertising content (including Google AdSense) that we do not fully control and that may not meet the same accessibility standards as our own interface
  • Embedded or third-party scripts that can affect focus order, announcements, or page structure
  • Older browsers or unsupported assistive technology combinations
  • Content that is still being updated to meet WCAG 2.1 AA

If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us so we can investigate.

7. Third-Party Content

Pomofocus may display third-party advertisements and may link to external websites. We do not control the accessibility of third-party ads or external sites. If an advertisement or linked site creates an accessibility barrier, contact us and, where possible, we will work with providers or adjust our implementation.

8. Feedback and Assistance

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Pomofocus. If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the Service, need content in an alternative format, or wish to report an accessibility barrier, please contact us:

9. Continuous Improvement

We review this Accessibility Statement when we make significant product or policy updates. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

Accessibility is not a one-time checklist. We treat it as a continuous process of design, testing, remediation, and listening to users.
